Fremont right-hander Nate Briceno pitched his team to victory over the New Rochelle Purple Wave at Hedgehogs Ballpark. The final score was 4-3. The Marshalls raised their record to 17-10.

The Marshalls got a big hit from right fielder Tyler Reese. Facing New Rochelle pitcher Cory Cirello in the bottom of the fifth, Reese pounded a solo home run to right. His 4th home run of the season put the Marshalls ahead, 4-2.

"We ground out the win," said Reese. "That's all that matters."
