Z's Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
Knights Ballpark was the site for Stripes Conference action featuring the Quebec Aces and Ann Arbor Z's.

Ann Arbor Z's starter Justin Bunt hurled his team past the Quebec Aces, 6-2. Bunt, now 1-1, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 5, and allowing 2 runs.

Vinny Medina hit a 2-run double off Mike Arnerich in the bottom of the first, which put the Z's in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Medina had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

Medina said his team "played with determination."

The Z's, with only their 3rd win in 15 games, have not had much to write home about in 2024.
