Jason Thompson propelled his team to victory over the Ann Arbor Z's. The final score was 5-3, New Rochelle. Reliever Caleb Jordan picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Pedro Benitez took the loss. Marcos Rosas picked up the save, his 3rd.

New Rochelle took a 3-2 lead on Raul Arreola's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Arreola hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Ann Arbor pitcher Pedro Benitez visibly frustrated.

"We were the better team," crowed Arreola.

The loss makes the Z's 5-9.
