The Ann Arbor Z's beat the Quebec Aces, 5-4, in 13 innings at Knights Ballpark. Ann Arbor third baseman Jerry Tully led the way. He was 3 for 5 with 3 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times. C.J. Henson, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. With the win, Ann Arbor improves its record to 6-2.
The Z's got a clutch hit from right fielder Travis Greer. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Z's.
"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Ann Arbor field general Mike Boren.
