Ballpark of Lexington played host to some high drama.

Ben Figueroa had a good game, but he could not keep the Denver Pilots from falling, 8-6, to the New Rochelle Purple Wave at Ballpark of Lexington. The Denver center fielder was 3-6 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice in the loss. The loss drops Denver to 4-3.

New Rochelle got a game-changing hit from Dave Acosta. The designated hitter blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"This place was jumping at the end," Acosta said.
