The home crowd had a good time watching the Portland Mad Ants and Baxter Springs Marshals get after it.

The Baxter Springs Marshals knocked off the Portland Mad Ants, 5-0, in Stars Conference action at Marshals Ballpark. Baxter Springs pitcher and Oranjestad, Netherlands Antilles, native Tony Lantinga had an outstanding performance. In 7 innings, Lantinga surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1.
