Mad Ants Improve to 73-47 with 5-0 Win
|
The Portland Mad Ants welcomed the Joilet Jesters to an night game at Mad Ants Ballpark.
Left-hander George Robertson mesmerized the Joilet Jesters while leading the Portland Mad Ants to a 5-0 victory. In 5 innings, Robertson surrendered no hits, while striking out 5 and walking 6. He allowed no runs.
The Mad Ants got a big at-bat from left fielder Brian Brewer. For the game, Brewer was 1-3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.
