The Montreal Royals and Portland Mad Ants completed their game despite the inclement weather.

Montreal beat Portland at Mad Ants Ballpark, eking out a 4-3 win. The triumph was primarily due to right fielder Randy Bunn. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Montreal pitcher Justin Baker got the win. He's now 9-2. Chris Simon was tagged with the loss.

Bunn had a big hit for Montreal with one out in the top of the fourth. With Montreal leading 1-0, Bunn hit a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Royals up, 4-0.

Bunn called the win a test of his team's "mettle."

With the win, Montreal raised its record to 59-55.
