Laredo turned a fine outing from starter Jon Cordova into a victory over the Montreal Canadiens at Ghosts Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Montreal has now lost 5 consecutive games.
Joe Chennault had a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third inning. With a runner on 2nd, the Laredo right fielder hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 2-1, Ghosts, and led to the win.
