The Laredo Ghosts wasted an inspired, 7.1-inning effort from starter Felipe Moreno, falling, 2-1, to the Fremont Marshalls at Hedgehogs Park. The losses continue to mount for Laredo, which has now dropped 11 in a row.

Chris Quinton was the walk-off hero for Fremont. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Marshalls pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Quinton said.
