Hund Excels, But Mad Ants Win
Brandon Hund had a good game, but he could not keep the Laredo Ghosts from falling, 7-5, to the Portland Mad Ants at Ghosts Ballpark. The Laredo center fielder hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice in the loss. Portland raised its record to 35-23 with the win.

Timmy Coenen contributed to the Portland win with a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.
