Jaden Melrose, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2016 draft, was locked in. The left-hander led the Nashville Lasers to a 5-0 win against the Joilet Jesters at Ballpark of Joilet. Nashville is now 34-24, Joilet 33-25.

Melrose picked up the win. He's now 2-0, after putting the Joilet offense in the deep freeze. Over 8 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 4 hits.
