Drooping Ghosts Lose 6th Straight
The Montreal Royals faced a tough opponent in Laredo pitcher Felipe Moreno, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ghosts Ballpark by a final score of 3-1. Moreno went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Laredo has now lost 6 straight.

Dwayne Cook came through with a big-time hit for Montreal. The shortstop smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Cook told the Montreal Today.
