Aces Take Tight Tangle
The Quebec Aces scored a tight, 3-2 win versus the Portland Mad Ants at Mad Ants Ballpark. Quebec pitcher Nick Dragon held his own in the contest. Mauricio Martinez earned the save for Quebec. The 4th-place Aces now have a win-loss record of 28-20.

In the top of the ninth, Quebec got a clutch hit from Tim Myers. The catcher belted a 2-run home run, putting the Aces up, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a decisive one.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Portland skipper Will Berman, "and it cost us."
