Both teams had their chances, but the Laredo Ghosts eventually prevailed.

The Laredo Ghosts had to overcome a big game from Lubbock third baseman Josh Kreisle to leave Ghosts Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 10-9. Kreisle slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The Ghosts, at 21-25, inhabit last place in the Stars Conference West Division.

Laredo took the lead, 10-9, on Corey Pryor's 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Lubbock pitcher Juan Barron in the bottom of the eighth.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Pryor.
