Reisinger goes 3-for-4, Marshalls Move to 30-13
|
Dave Reisinger was instrumental in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Montreal Canadiens. The left fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Fremont Marshalls. Brian Wilkey got the win, improving to 3-2. He held the Canadiens to 1 run on 3 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 5. The victory gives Fremont a record of 30-13.
Early in the game, Reisinger had a 2-run home run for Fremont. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Marshalls on top, 2-0.
"Solid game, solid win tonight," said a smiling Reisinger.
