Big Day for Tyndall in 14-7 Lasers Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Nashville Lasers and Joilet Jesters.

The 14-7 Nashville win over Joilet was due largely to Adam Tyndall. The Lasers second baseman went 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Nashville pitcher Adam Matthews got the win. He's now 4-2. Greg Forness was tagged with the loss.

The Lasers got a big hit from designated hitter Marc Toney. Facing Joilet pitcher Matt Schmid in the top of the ninth, Toney pounded a 3-run home run to right. His 2nd home run of the season put the Lasers ahead, 14-4.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Toney. "And not try to do too much."

Joilet has now lost 4 consecutive games.
