Chupacabras Rally Late to Nip Marshalls
In a tight contest at Chupacabras Stadium, the El Paso Chupacabras edged the Fremont Marshalls by the score of 5-4 in 11 innings. El Paso first baseman Brian Phillips, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The win went to Gabe Calloway in relief, making him now 4-5. Jonathan Reeher took the loss for Fremont. El Paso has a record of 20-18, placing them second in the Stars Conference West Division.

The Chupacabras got a clutch hit from catcher Joe Carroll. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Chupacabras.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Carroll said in his postgame press conference.
