Vic Lucero was superb against El Paso. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the SC with a 11.3 K/9 rate, had a changeup that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Ghosts victory. The score was 7-2. Justin Buchanan closed it out for his 1st save. Laredo is 5th in the Stars Conference West Division with a record of 17-20.

The fans who came to support the Ghosts were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Ghosts Ballpark.

Lucero told a Laredo Bulletin reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
