Nashville Lasers starter Arturo Pintado hurled his team past the Glendale Muskies, 8-0. Pintado picked up the win for Nashville, going 5.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Luke Getts earned the save for Nashville, his 5th.
The Lasers took the lead, 2-0, in the top of the sixth inning. Facing Glendale hurler Terry Droubay with two outs, David Puente hit a run-scoring single.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Nashville skipper Kenny McElhaney.
The last-place Muskies now sit at 15-22.
