Muskies Win Nail-Biter in 11
The Glendale Muskies defeated the Portland Mad Ants, 6-5, in 11 innings. Chris Alexander played a big role. Alexander went 3-6 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times for the Muskies in the win. The Muskies now have a record of 13-21 with the win over Portland.

The Muskies got a clutch hit from left fielder Justin Coker. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Muskies.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Coker told a Glendale Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
