Nashville Snags 6-4 Win
The Nashville Lasers handed the El Paso Chupacabras a 6-4 defeat at Chupacabras Stadium. First Baseman Matt Kuperberg starred for Nashville. He went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win belonged to Harry Bowman in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Eduardo Vargas took the loss for El Paso. Tom Herzing nailed down the save.

Nashville used a timely hit from Ryan Thurman to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lasers ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

Nashville manager Kenny McElhaney was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.

The Lasers, at 20-11, sit in first place in the Stars Conference East Division.
