Mad Ants Beat Chupacabras, 6-2, at Mad Ants Ballpark
The Portland Mad Ants defeated the El Paso Chupacabras by the score of 6-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Josh Kelly. Kelly went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Mad Ants on the day. Portland now sports a record of 12-17.

Alex Aime had a big 2-run double for the Mad Ants in the bottom of the first inning. With Portland leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 23-year old left-handed pitcher Marc Manis and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mad Ants ahead, 3-0.
