With 4-3 Win, Matadors Improve to 14-14
The Hartford Matadors defeated the Laredo Ghosts, 4-3, in Stars Conference action at Ballpark of Tacoma. Hartford pitcher Kory Pullar had a standout performance. Ken Yates closed the game out for Hartford, earning his 7th save. The loss has the Ghosts at 11-17.

Hartford took a 4-3 lead on Dave Aschenbrener's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Aschenbrener hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Laredo pitcher Jon Cordova visibly frustrated.

"Kory gave us everything he had," said Hartford manager Jesse Heugly.
