Monteleone Terrific in 14-1 Fremont Triumph

Portland had no answer for 23-year old right-handed pitcher Adam Monteleone. The Fremont Marshalls starter stymied Mad Ants hitters, helping the Marshalls cruise to victory, 14-1. The Mad Ants drop to 10-16 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2026 season.
Monteleone, who dominated for Fremont, earned the victory to move to 2-3. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 5. Portland batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
