Baldwin Helps Ghosts Win, 5-4, with Pair of Homers
In a close game at Turtles Ballpark, the Laredo Ghosts edged the Montreal Royals, 5-4. Laredo third baseman Ashton Baldwin stood apart with his performance. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Montreal now is 18-8.

Baldwin contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Laredo in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Baldwin took a cutter from Oscar Orduno and stroked the home run to right-center. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Ghosts to leap in front, 4-2.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Baldwin said.
