Matadors Rally to Win, 4-3
The Hartford Matadors had to overcome a fine effort from El Paso pitcher Ryan Heyer to win, 4-3, in 18 innings at Chupacabras Stadium. Heyer went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. Manuel Angloma, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 1.1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 1. The loss drops El Paso to 14-13.

Hartford used a clutch hit from John Walker to snatch the win. The right fielder belted a solo home run in the top of the 18th inning to put the Matadors ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was huge.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said El Paso manager William Maysonet.
