Ghosts 5-1 Winners Over Fremont
Laredo starter Andrew Braden put a stranglehold on the Fremont offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Ghosts to a 5-1 win. Braden picked up the win for Laredo, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Fremont, with the loss, is still a stout 19-7.

Doug Marrin came through for Laredo with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. The left fielder went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Laredo manager Josh Miller. "It's usually not just one thing."
