Quebec pitcher Steve Oswald had a large part in his team beating the Chesapeake Tailgators, 4-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Oswald, the winner, moves to 3-1. Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Rich Simmer? The 25-year old second baseman Simmer stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put Quebec up, 4-0. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
