The Hartford Matadors electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

Hartford beat Fremont at Ballpark of Tacoma, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to left fielder Malcolm McKechnie. He was 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The win went to Glen Foster in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Drew Pozin took the loss.

The two teams entertained the Ballpark of Tacoma crowd with some good baseball.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Hartford manager Jesse Heugly.

The win gives Hartford a record of 15-9.
