Mt. Vernon picked up a win at Mt. Vernon Grounds, bumping off the Savannah Alpines, 4-2. Pitcher Willie Ocasio was a major reason the Cyclones emerged victorious. The winner was Ocasio. He threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Casey Thill. Mt. Vernon now sports a record of 78-58.
