Field of the Muskies was the site of a competitive game between the Glendale Muskies and Joilet Jesters.
The Joilet Jesters picked up a win at Field of the Muskies, knocking off the Glendale Muskies, 5-3. Starting pitcher Matt Schmid was a big reason why. Nick McKinney collected save number 2.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Chad Mannino? The Joilet center fielder had a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Jesters on top, 2-0. For the game, Mannino had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Glendale manager Jon Greenberg.
With the win, Joilet elevates its record to 6-3.
