Big Day for Hedger in 12-3 Panthers Win
The Wichita Panthers pinned a convincing loss on the South Pasadena Air Riders, 12-3, at Panthers Park. Mike Hedger was a main factor in the win. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for Wichita. Wichita reliever Trevor Hill picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Victor Duran absorbed the loss. The Panthers go to 17-14, putting them third in the Sub League 2 Central Division.

Hedger had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth to put Wichita in front, 5-2. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single off South Pasadena pitcher Victor Duran.

"Nice to score a bunch of runs," said Hedger after the game.
