Wranglers Suffer 4-0 Home Loss
The Wichita Panthers downed the Newport News Wranglers, 4-0, at Wranglers Stadium. Wichita pitcher Edward Southey definitely brought his A-game. Jesse Soto stitched up the save, his 2nd. The win hiked the Wichita record to 25-18.

George Kellogg contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. His at-bat helped Wichita get the win.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Kellogg told the Wichita Today. "But we take nothing for granted."
