Carson City Upended by Anaheim, 6-3
|
The Anaheim Music topped the Carson City Miners, 6-3, in Sub League 2 action at Music Grove. The standout performance belonged to Anaheim pitcher and Fukui, Japan, native Ryu Masumoto. The Music improved their record to 24-20 with the win over Carson City.
Anaheim took a 6-3 lead on Chris Ortiz's 6th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Ortiz hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Carson City pitcher Dermot Howe visibly frustrated.
Anaheim manager Ed Arroyo called it "a darn good win."
