Cyclones Get 8-4 Win Versus Sikeston
The Sikeston Shamrocks could not turn a fine performance from left fielder Jose Yenores into a win. Instead, the Mt. Vernon Cyclones prevailed, 8-4. Yenores was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Brian Pace went 5.1 innings for Mt. Vernon to pick up the win. The left-hander was charged with 1 run.
