Big Day for Gonzalez as Fighting Knights Down Cyclones, 7-6
In a tight contest at Mt. Vernon Grounds, the Niskayuna Fighting Knights edged the Mt. Vernon Cyclones by the score of 7-6. Niskayuna first baseman Pablo Gonzalez, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Art Cohen earned the save for Niskayuna, his 3rd. The setback makes Mt. Vernon 19-18.

In the top of the third, Gonzalez had a 2-run double for Niskayuna. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Fighting Knights on top, 2-0.

"We got the victory," said Gonzalez. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
