Alpines Walk It Off for 12th Win of Season
The Savannah Alpines gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

Behind a solid performance from right fielder Zack Neal, the Savannah Alpines defeated the Sikeston Shamrocks, 4-3. Neal went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Alpines. The winner was Jeff Eddins in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Eric Osborne took the loss.

Mike Fitzgerald was the walk-off hero for Savannah. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Alpines first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Neal said his team "played with focus."

With the win, the Alpines are 12-23.
