Lubbock picked up a win at Reagor Dykes Stadium, bumping off the Quebec Aces, 1-0. Pitcher Rodney Caporn was a major reason the Stampede emerged victorious. At 2-0, the Stampede have played well so far.

Lubbock took a 1-0 lead on Josh Kreisle's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which Kreisle hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Quebec pitcher Sean Ryan visibly frustrated.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Kreisle, "one at-bat at a time."
