Aurora turned a good performance from starting pitcher Willie Garcia into a 4-2 triumph over the Greensboro Naturals at Naturals Grounds. Garcia, now 5-10, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 1, walking 6, and allowing 1 run. Picking up his 4th save was 16-year old left-handed pitcher Francisco Quintero.

Aurora used the hitting of Constantin Lupu to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Paints on top, 3-1. For the game, Lupu had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We did enough to win," said Garcia.

The setback makes Greensboro 53-79.
