The Anaheim Music withstood an impressive performance by Sikeston pinch hitter Jake Hoffmann to defeat the Shamrocks, 6-3, at Music Grove. Hoffmann went 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Anaheim reliever David Vasquez snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Will Clark shouldered the loss. Aaron Kent earned the save for Anaheim.

The Music got a big hit from first baseman Chris Malay. Facing Sikeston pitcher Will Clark in the bottom of the fifth, Malay pounded a run-scoring double to left. His 1st double of the season put the Music ahead, 3-1.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Malay.

Anaheim has a record of 2-1.
