Greensboro got a strong outing from Loeck Krijgsman as the Naturals defeated the Tacoma Thunder Wolves, 4-0, at Naturals Grounds. Krijgsman, now 3-6, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Greensboro now sports a record of 46-72.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Ikuro Wada didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Tacoma trailing 2-0, Wada retired Joey Barnett to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Wada, with a wink.
