The Providence Hex picked up a win at Warlocks Grounds, downing the Waco Warlocks, 6-3. On the mound for Providence was left-hander Juan Contreras, who played a pivotal role in the win. Contreras picked up the win for Providence, going 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 11-6. With the win, the Hex hiked their record to 61-52.
Providence used the hitting of Pete DiBiaso to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Hex on top, 5-0. For the game, DiBiaso had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
