The Waco Warlocks and Aurora Paints delighted fans at Paints Park.

Though he had a stellar game, John Sears could not prevent his team, the Waco Warlocks, from losing, 6-5, to the Aurora Paints. Sears was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Aurora reliever Albrecht Boerth picked up the win, while Alex Gonzales took the loss for Waco.

Nick Roper was the walk-off hero for Aurora. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Paints pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was bedlam at the end," Roper said.

Aurora has won 7 straight games.
