Wish Excels in 16-6 Providence Win
The Providence Hex knocked off the Aurora Paints, 16-6, at Paints Park. Justin Wish was a big reason Providence won. The right fielder went 2 for 5 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 5. Providence pitcher John Savage got the win. He's now 2-1. Carlos Rios was tagged with the loss. The Hex, now 14-5, have been on fire in the early going.

With Providence leading 7-4 in the top of the sixth, Wish came up to bat against Aurora pitcher Albrecht Boerth. Wish hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Hex on top, 11-4.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Wish.
