Black Aces Reel Off Another Win
|
Josh Lambert, who is tied for 5th in the SL1 in wins with 4, was terrific for the Santa Ana Black Aces in his team's 7-0 triumph over the Medford Desperados. His performance earned Lambert rave reviews. Lambert got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 1 hit and walked 1 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs. The winning continues for Santa Ana, with the latest triumph making it 8 straight.
Early in the game, designated hitter Bill Bandy had a run-scoring double for Santa Ana. It was his 14th double of the season and put the Black Aces on top, 1-0.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Bandy.
