Jammers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Desperados
The Julian Jammers outlasted the Medford Desperados, 5-3, in 13 innings. Ruben Borquez led the way, going 4-for-6 for Julian. Julian is now 13-20. Medford is 21-12.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Nick Gratta came to bat in the top of the 13th. Facing Medford pitcher Danny Garcia, he hit a 1-2 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Julian on top, 3-2.

"It was a good effort all around," said Gratta.
