Led by Rich Callanan, the Little Rock Golden Gophers defeated the Ottawa Lynx, 14-3. Callanan belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for the Golden Gophers. The winner was Rick Hall in relief. His record improves to 4-0. Alex Guzman took the loss. Marcos Patino got credit for the save for Little Rock. It was his 1st of the year.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Callanan hit a 2-run home run off Alex Guzman. It propelled the Golden Gophers into the lead, 3-1.

"I have nothing to complain about," said winning manager Jose Moreno after the game.

Little Rock now sports a record of 29-5.
