It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Kyle Twigg -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Santa Ana Stadium and paced the 21-2 Black Aces win over the Greensboro Naturals.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Santa Ana center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Kyle Twigg singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in a run in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
