Whitby Advances to League Championship Series
Fans at Eláguila Stadia saw the Division Series come to a close today, as the Whitby Bats defeated the Borrego Springs Rams by a score of 8-6, and advanced to the League Championship Series.

Whitby won the series 4-1 and will now continue their march toward the World Series.

"It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said center fielder Arturo Tinoco, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far."

The Whitby Bats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Buffalo Bellflowers - Moncton Mounties series. Buffalo leads the series 3 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
